Doula Hub Provider Quality Collaborative
Partnering for Better Births: Equity-Driven Collaborative Work
The Power of Partnership in Perinatal Support
What is DHPQC?
The DHPQC stands for the Doula Hub Provider Quality Collaborative. It is a quarterly meeting between healthcare providers and the Doula Hub Program Team where we review feedback from both providers and families and discuss important overarching themes that may affect the care we provide.
In 2026, Kweens Kounsel will host two of these meetings. Kweens Kounsel was created by community member LyVesha Franklin with the vision to incubate, cultivate, and funnel Black Birth Experts into the birthing community. “Owning the Legacy of the Black Woman,” Kweens Kounsel works to remove barriers and provide resources that support Black women in becoming successful Certified Birthing Entrepreneurs.

Uniting Voices in Care
The Collaborative is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes during labor, delivery, and postpartum by fostering a dynamic partnership between doctors, doulas, and other healthcare professionals. These meetings are guided by a lens of equity, recognizing the disparities and challenges experienced by BIPOC families in maternal care. By gathering honest feedback from both providers and the families they serve, the DHPQC works to improve communication, support shared decision-making, and build a care environment that feels compassionate and truly centered on the needs of birthing families.
