Q: How does PCMC coordinate with care teams?
A: PCMC works closely with care teams to ensure smooth collaboration and support for families. We encourage open communication through our Provider Feedback Form, which allows providers, doulas, and families to safely share their experiences and insights. Feedback is reviewed during our DHPC meetings, where overarching themes and opportunities for improvement are discussed.
We also prioritize relationship-building by organizing hospital tours to help doulas become familiar with hospital spaces and meet staff, and Provider & Doula Meet-and-Greet events to foster deeper understanding of each other’s roles. These efforts help create a supportive, collaborative environment for everyone involved in care.
