Our Doula Hub

A Community of Doulas. A Lifetime of Support.

Our Doula Hub

The Parenting Connection of Monterey County Doula Hub connects families with compassionate, culturally responsive doulas who provide physical, emotional, and evidence based support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

What is the Doula Hub?

The Doula Hub is a collaborative network of birth professionals serving families throughout Monterey County.

Our network includes newly trained doulas, experienced affiliate doulas, and community leaders who believe every family deserves respectful, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care.

Together, we create a village where knowledge is shared, mentorship is encouraged, and families are supported every step of the way.

How We Build Strong Doulas

Supporting families begins with preparing doulas.

Through PCMC, more than 30 doulas have completed community-centered training that combines evidence-based education, hands-on comfort techniques, communication skills, and family-centered care.

Learning doesn’t stop after graduation. Our doulas continue growing through mentorship, workshops, peer collaboration, and shared community experiences.

Insurance

Do You Have Medi-Cal or Central California Alliance for Health as a primary insurance?

Below you’ll find doulas who are part of our PCMC community, including Hub Doulas (trained through our Doula Hub program) and Affiliate Doulas (trained elsewhere and supported by PCMC with credentialing and billing).

These doulas currently serve families covered by Central California Alliance for Health (Medi-Cal).
If you’re interested in working with one of our doulas, please begin by submitting our PCMC Interest Form, and our team will help guide you through the next steps.

Don’t Have Medi-Cal or Central California Alliance for Health as a primary? Doula support is still available!

  • We know insurance coverage looks different for every family, and there are still meaningful ways to connect with doula support:

    • Private Pay or Sliding Scale Support
If you’re able to pay out of pocket, we recommend exploring the doula directory through Birth Network of Monterey County, where you can connect directly with doulas offering private pay and sliding scale services.

    • Free Doula Support
If paying for services isn’t possible right now, our sister organization RC Fam offers free doula support and would love to connect with you.
